IGN.com reports that Gurewitz and Graffin are currently writing songs together in Los Angeles. Graffin is also teaching a class in life science at UCLA.
"When I was an undergrad and a graduate student at UCLA, I used to play and write with Bad Religion at night," Graffin said in a statement. "Now, I'm back to that schedule as a professor."
If they actually are writing songs together is not sure since they haven't written more than a few songs togheter before.

indeed, the whole staying on the shelf thing is a bit annoying, especially i myself have this situation with a band i want to form (and, typical, it revolves around getting a drummer, oh joy).

colin remember, it wouldnt be surprising if they didnt have many if anything written yet as greg had his cold as clay album, his second book, touring and before that the agonizing but well worth the wait process of the palladium dvd.
as long as the new album is out before chinese democracy, i dont think anyone can complain at all lol. |

They're probably just collaborating greg actually singing on bretts songs and greg getting the harmonies together. I doubt they'd change their writing process now.
