Johnny Ramone Dies At Age 55

This is not a Bad Religion news but since Brett was at the Ramones Part this weekend i thogut it would be important to write about it anyway.

Ramones guitarist John Cummings, a.k.a. Johnny Ramone, who had been fighting a five-year battle with prostate cancer, died in his sleep on Wednesday afternoon in Los Angeles. He was 55.

A tribute concert and cancer research fund-raiser was held Sunday in Los Angeles to celebrate the band's 30th anniversary. The concert included performances by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pete Yorn and members of Pearl Jam, the Sex Pistols and Bad Religion (only Brett).

Fiends and family members ? including Eddie Vedder, Rob Zombie, Lisa Marie Presley and Vincent Gallo ? were at his home when he passed.
