Jay: "He's very unique. He's not just a singer. He's one of those God-gifted people that can come in and do his vocals in one take. And do his overdubs in one take. And then listen to them and go, okay, I want to add one more thing. And then that one thing that he does just floors you, and you go, "Fuck! How do you think that?" And he goes, "I just hear it." And I go, yeah, I could hear it too, but I could never just make it come out of my mouth. He's really one of a kind, as far as I've ever...for the kind of music that we play and the way that he sings, I've never heard anybody else like him."
