I liked pearl jam before I even knew anything about punk rock music. the first songs I heard were Better Man, Jeremy, Alive, and Even Flow. I was born in like 1990 so I heard them while I was growing up. I wasn't introduced to bad religion until my friend played 21st century digital boy sometime in 96-98

The seats are at PJ shows cause of Roskilde. When they started up their NA tour after that seats were put in place cause the band wanted to try their best to make sure things like that dont happen again. Other than the festivals they still do I think they only played about 4-5 GA shows since 2000.
Vedder came out and sang on Watch It Die both nights.
This was the first time I've seen BR since the POB tour since I hate the Warped Tour they havent played any shows around here worth going to. But it was great seeing that they havent lost a step. Greg did mention something about playing the electric factory again at one of the shows....hope thats true!

They only played that long because it was the final show.. but the great thing about PJ is that you have no idea what they're gonna play, a lot of songs were played for the first time in a long time or ever at these shows.
also about MTV, PJ haven't done that many videos, I'm pretty sure BR have more.

Insn't Michael Bublé from Canada? I know it 'cause apparently he dates some famous chick from my country. Yeah, yeah, I shouldn't know that either. :ashamed:
marty! you dont know a single song of pearl jam... sheesh.. are you that young or am I that old lol
Going 31 in just a couple of months. The thing is, I've always detested MTV (and the likings) and commercial radio... and I still do. So all the mainstream stuff passes me by.
Example: a couple of days ago there was this [s]American[/s] Canadian singer who was a guest in a Dutch tv show. People were going crazy over him.. And I was like.. who the fuck is that guy?! Turns out he was a dude named Michael Bublé....And you guessed it, never heard of him...
First of all, I don't know anything about Pearl Jam.... can't name a single song, so maybe this is normal for these kind of bands. But what's up with all the seats? I mean, are the Pearl Jam shows that long that people can't stand anymore?
I honestly can't imagine myself sitting there, first row, picking my nose, just staring at a band performing.
Well Marty, a lot of people at concerts that have seating tickets normally stand anyway.

It's pretty sad Bad Religion only made up that amount of seats. If it had of been full, think of how many more people could have grow appreciation for them. Well hopefully they did make some new fans from opening for them.

this is the stadium where the flyers and sixers used to play. pj was the last event ever before they tear it down. those seats were only empty for br. pj was sold out for 4 nights and those seats were packed - even with the world series going on literally next door. personally, i'm not a big pj fan. I stayed for 5 songs then went to chinatown to see the dead milkmen. which ruled.

this was the only br show i've ever seen in an arena. it was a regular short set (like warped, etc..). they were well received - especially when vedder came out for "watch it die". unfortunately there were many empty seats. enjoy the pics.
(the first two pics are duplicates. moderator, please delete. thanks.)
